My Review:
I love the real and raw honesty of this book. The parts about Tikisha’s mother really stuck with me. I lost my mother in 2022 from cancer. Going to the hospital those last few days required mental preparation. I literally had to go see her on an empty stomach because she started to change and could no longer speak. I appreciate that Tikisha is coming into her “authentic self”. I’m now encouraged to do the same by reading her book. Thank you.
