mirror
whenever you think someone else is wrong
pull out the mirror
The mirror principle suggests that when we judge others, what we observe often reflects something about ourselves. Judgment, in this sense, isn’t always about the other person—it’s about how we perceive, interpret, and respond to qualities we recognize or struggle with in ourselves. By forming an opinion about someone else, we can learn not only about them but also about ourselves. This principle calls us to reflect on why we hold certain opinions and what they reveal about our own values, fears, or desires.
the two coworkers
one believes the other is too disorganized
second thinks the first is overly rigid and controlling
the first values flexibility and creativity
the second values structure and order
When they step back, they realize the lesson is balance. Through the mirror principle, the disorganized coworker can see the value of structure to improve productivity, while the rigid coworker can learn that some flexibility might foster creativity.
Their judgments reveal what each needs to adjust in their own approach, teaching them to appreciate balance between order and adaptability.

the idea of parenting and the concept of nurturing
• One person believes that another parent is overly nurturing, while they themselves are more hands-off, seeing their style as encouraging independence.
• Meanwhile, the second person thinks the first parent is too detached and should be more nurturing, valuing closeness and emotional support.
Through the mirror principle, when they step back, they both realize that nurturing is the shared lesson. Each parent may actually be focusing on an extreme—one too much, one too little—and can learn from the other’s approach. The overly nurturing parent can reflect on their need to allow space for independence, while the more hands-off parent might see the value in offering more emotional support. In this way, their judgments of each other reveal what they both could balance better within themselves.

The allegedly bad example is their judgment of each other’s methods, which may lead to tension or misunderstanding, but it also holds the opportunity for growth.
By examining what we see in one another, we learn how to establish a healthier balance. This teaches us that what we judge in others often reflects what we need to examine or refine within ourselves.
Are you learning from/for
Are you elevating from/for
the company you keep? the people you’re around?
or is it only about you? how you see it?
Spiritually, every experience—whether it triggers or doesn’t—serves as a mirror, reflecting aspects of ourselves that need attention, healing, or growth. Each situation is an opportunity for self-awareness, guiding us to deeper understanding and alignment with our true selves. What we react to or remain indifferent toward reveals areas where we are called to reflect, transform, or embrace peace, as everything that happens around us holds a lesson within.
It starts at home.
Home is a place of safety, belonging, and emotional peace.
In a deeper sense, home is where one feels most aligned with themselves and their surroundings, where they experience love, stability, and inner peace.
Home is where the heart is…
home, is self

Does their life reflect them thriving, during the storm?
Who are you to measure their storm?
Google who determines the category of the storm?
The National Hurricane Center (NHC), part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), determines the category of a hurricane. They use the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale, which categorizes hurricanes based on their sustained wind speeds. This scale ranges from Category 1 (the least severe) to Category 5 (the most severe), with each category reflecting the potential for property damage and danger to life.
The NHC monitors storms, collects data from satellites, aircraft, and weather stations, and then classifies the hurricane’s strength accordingly.

Psalm 5:12
“For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.”
Isaiah 66:2
“Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being? declares the Lord. These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word.”
Psalm 84:11
“For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.”
Proverbs 12:2
“Good people obtain favor from the Lord, but he condemns those who devise wicked schemes.”
Luke 1:30
“And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.”

I have to find out which method of favor works for me
Proverbs 3:3-4, Psalm 5:12, Isaiah 66:2, Psalm 84:11, Proverbs 12:2, Luke 1:30
God’s favor is a spiritual blessing, offering protection, guidance, and provision for those who walk uprightly and reverence His word. Whether through humble submission, righteous living, or fulfilling a divine calling, favor from the Lord is a reflection of His grace and approval on our lives.

Satan was before Adam
Revelation 12:7-9 describes a war in heaven, where Satan and his angels are cast out, which many interpret as occurring prior to the events in the Garden of Eden.
So maybe just maybe by the time Adam and Eve were created, Satan was already in a fallen state since in Genesis 3 when deceives Eve in the form of a serpent.

God
commanded the man
did man tell her?
that conversation is not provided
but implied
The Bible does not provide the conversation of Adam telling Eve about God’s command not to eat from the tree… but Eve knew about it when she spoke to the serpent.
Genesis 3:2-3 (KJV):
“And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.”
This shows that Eve was aware of the command, though the Bible doesn’t detail exactly how or when Adam conveyed it to her. The most likely understanding is that Adam, who received the command directly from God in Genesis 2:16-17, communicated it to Eve after she was created.

Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.”
Philippians 4:11-13
“Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. Do unto others as you want them to do unto you:
Luke 6:31 (KJV): “And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.”
Don’t judge: Matthew 7:1 (KJV): “Judge not, that ye be not judged.”
We should judge: John 7:24 (KJV): “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
treating others with respect
cautioning against judgment

Psalm 89:5-7 (KJV):
“And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints. For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord? God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.”
This passage refers to God being praised in the assembly of heavenly beings and speaks of His incomparable majesty.
Job 1:6 (KJV):
“Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.”
Here, the “sons of God” (interpreted as angelic or heavenly beings) present themselves before God, showing the idea of a divine council.
Job 38:7 (KJV):
“When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?”
This verse speaks of the “sons of God” rejoicing at the creation, again implying a gathering of divine beings.
1 Kings 22:19-22 (KJV):
“And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left. And the Lord said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.”
This passage gives a vivid picture of God sitting on His throne, surrounded by heavenly beings who are part of a divine assembly, involved in decision-making.
Daniel 7:9-10 (KJV):
“I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.”
Daniel’s vision here depicts God (the “Ancient of Days”) presiding over a great assembly, with thousands of ministering beings around Him.
visions
These verses together support the idea of God in a divine council, surrounded by heavenly beings, emphasizing His supreme authority over all creation and the spiritual realm.

balance
Once upon a time, a young woman held a deep desire in her heart for a life filled with love, purpose, and connection. Along her journey, Satan persistently tempted her, whispering that she should settle for fleeting pleasures and unfulfilling relationships. Yet, she stood firm, holding close her mantra: “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7, KJV), trusting that her strength lay in resisting these temptations and choosing God’s path.
Determined to build a meaningful relationship with God, she dedicated herself to nurturing her faith. She attended church regularly, drawing strength from worship and wisdom from sermons that fed her spirit. She also found joy in actively participating in her community, joining groups and activities that matched her interests and allowed her to connect with others on a deeper level. To maintain balance, she sought guidance from both a mental health therapist and a spiritual life coach. Her therapist helped her address personal challenges, set healthy boundaries, and gain clarity in her inner life, while her spiritual life coach guided her journey with God. The coach helped her see God’s presence in ways she hadn’t recognized before—through signs, dreams, and everyday encounters. Sometimes, the coach used oracle cards to bring insights, offering messages of encouragement and self-reflection; other times, guidance came directly through prayer, scripture, or meditation.
To keep her spiritual path strong, she surrounded herself with wise people
such as accountability partners, mentors, and friends who inspired her to grow, who openly supported her.
She made sure she always received advice from those who were constantly working on themselves, which was reflected by their conversations and in their lives. She knew from past experiences that not everyone had her best interest at heart; some people, even unintentionally, spoke from places of hurt.
Her mental health therapist and spiritual life coach, helped her a deeper understanding of the complexities of relationships and the impact of unresolved pain. She recognized that some people were still processing their own struggles and might offer advice that came from a place of bitterness or distrust.
As she worked through her own trust issues, it became essential to her to surround herself with genuine, supportive people who were committed to their own growth.
These individuals didn’t always agree with her; in fact, they often encouraged her to look at situations from every angle, challenging her to see life in its full circle. This honest feedback was uncomfortable at times, but it allowed her to see herself and her choices clearly, helping her evolve and refine her faith.
This intentional choice helped her build a circle of influence that offered both truth and love, encouraging her to heal and evolve without fear.
With this supportive circle, she gained resilience, wisdom, and an ability to see God’s plan with a more open heart.
Her spiritual life coach often reminded her
“Believe it to see it”
a phrase that eventually took root as deeply as her own steadfast biblical affirmation:
“Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Together, these mantras strengthened her faith, showing her that resisting temptation was only one part of her journey
…believing was the other.
She understood that believing meant holding an unwavering faith, knowing that if she clung to her vision and took purposeful steps forward, God would be faithful to fulfill His promises.
Her coach taught her that true faith involved more than just waiting; it meant living out her beliefs with active steps, even when challenges arose.
She understood being called and chosen. She wanted to be chosen by God, even though she knew this meant facing and doing the hard things.
The Mirror.
With each act of faith, she watched God turn the impossible into reality, making every promise feel within reach. Anchored in both her biblical affirmation and her coach’s motto, she walked confidently in her purpose, knowing God’s love was guiding her every step.
Though life still brought challenges, she felt stronger than ever. Rooted in her relationship with God, she was learning to approach struggles with faith and patience.
Throughout her life, she had learned and experienced so much
growth, healing, and even the fulfillment of dreams she once thought were unreachable
…living dreams she never even had
God gave her wonderful opportunities.
small wins were always huge to her
Yet, that one true desire, to find a husband, often felt just out of reach… a delusion, they’d say
God had revealed him to her in dreams, but despite all the signs, she had struggled to believe he would truly come.
Therapy and guidance from her spiritual life coach helped her see things differently; if God could fulfill other desires in her life, why not this one?
she could come up with 101 reason…
they encouraged her to reflect deeply on why she longed for a husband and to consider her faith if it never happened. Through this process, she came to a place of peace, realizing she would still love God regardless, and this shift allowed her to trust fully in His timing.
One evening at a community sporting event, she met a man who would later change her life.
The moment she laid eyes on him, she knew. He struck up a conversation, asking her about her work, though unbeknownst to her, he had been quietly observing her for some time. God had been working on him behind the scenes, preparing him just as He was preparing her, knowing the pain and struggles they both had endured. In that moment, it was as if God had dismissed the devil’s influence in their lives, creating a sacred space for them to come together, stronger and healed by their individual journeys.
He became her husband, and together they began a journey grounded in faith and love. Everything she once thought impossible
a legacy
a deep, fulfilling love, a partnership founded in faith
a life of shared dreams
became her reality.
In that moment, she remembered the verse from Luke 1:37
“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
Her life became a living testimony to this truth, as she saw that God had not only fulfilled her heart’s desires but had woven them into a story more beautiful than she ever imagined. Through faith, commitment, and the support of her spiritual community, she had become a true testament to the power of God’s love and guidance.
