Let Us Pray …disappointed

Heavenly Father,

In moments of disappointment, I come to You seeking strength and hope. Help me to remember that Your plans are greater than my understanding. I trust in Your purpose for my life, even when I face setbacks.

When I feel discouraged, remind me of Your promises in Your Word. In Isaiah 41:10, You say, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Help me to lean on Your strength when my own is failing.

Lord, I am reminded of Romans 8:28, which assures me that “all things work together for the good of those who love You.” Even in my disappointment, help me to trust that You are working behind the scenes for my good.

When my heart is heavy, I seek comfort in Your presence. Psalm 34:18 tells me, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” May I feel Your closeness and peace surrounding me.

Lord, give me the patience to wait for Your timing. Help me to hold onto hope, as stated in Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Thank You for being my refuge and strength. I choose to trust You, even when the path ahead seems unclear. May I emerge from this season stronger and more aligned with Your will.
