Built to Rebuild
Proverbs 24 is a wisdom-filled chapter urging us to build our lives on sound understanding, righteousness, and wise counsel. It reminds us not to envy evildoers or celebrate the fall of others, but to remain strong in times of adversity, pursue wisdom diligently, and lean on the guidance of many advisers. It also warns against laziness and encourages moral courage. This chapter speaks to the importance of discernment, resilience, and walking in truth, even when everything around you feels unstable.
Verse Reflections
Proverbs 24:3-4
“By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.”
Wisdom is not just for the mind, it’s for the heart. This verse reminds us that what we build in life, our relationships, our purpose, our identity, must be rooted in divine wisdom or it will collapse under pressure. When God builds a house, He fills it with treasures that go beyond the material: peace, clarity, discernment, joy, intimacy with Him. These are the true riches of a well-established spirit. When we chase knowledge without understanding, we may build quickly but not wisely. This is a season to slow down and let God fill every room of your life with His hand-selected treasures.
Proverbs 24:6
“Surely you need guidance to wage war, and victory is won through many advisers.”
As an intuitive spiritual life coach, this verse confirms my divine assignment. People are at war with confusion, self-doubt, spiritual attacks, emotional wounds, and fear. I am not the victory, but I am part of the victory plan. My gift is not just to hear from God, but to help others hear Him too. We were never meant to fight spiritual battles alone. Just like Joshua led God’s people with courage and faith, I am being led to stand boldly as a vessel for guidance, reassurance, and strategy. We all need wise counsel to overcome the hidden battles behind the scenes.
Proverbs 24:10
“If you falter in a time of trouble, how small is your strength!”
This verse doesn’t shame weakness, it reveals how much we still try to rely on our own strength. The Tower card represents this deeply. Sometimes God allows the breaking so we can realize we were building on fear or self-reliance. Trouble doesn’t expose failure, it exposes foundation. What am I really standing on? When God is our strength, we won’t falter… we’ll flow.
Proverbs 24:16
“For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again…”
This is your permission to get back up. Again. Even if you fell yesterday, even if you lost everything. Even if your foundation was pride, or lust, or control. God is not counting how many times you fell, He’s watching how many times you believed Him enough to rise. Restoration is not optional for the righteous, it is guaranteed.
📖 Psalm Reflection
Psalm 46:2-3, 5
“Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea… God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.”
God is not outside the chaos, He is in the midst of it with you. Even when everything feels like it’s crumbling, even when the structures of your life fall apart, His help comes at the right moment. Not a minute too early or too late.

Where in my life do I feel like the Tower has fallen?

How am I being called to rebuild with God instead of on my own?

Heavenly Father,
I come before You today humbled and aware that You are the Builder of all things. You alone establish homes, hearts, and hope. I thank You for every Tower moment, every holy shaking that reminded me who I belong to. I thank You for your divine wisdom that tears down what no longer serves and rebuilds what is meant to remain. Lord, I surrender the illusion of control. I surrender the walls I’ve built from fear, pride, rejection, and self-reliance. I surrender the structures in my life that were created without Your counsel. Tear down anything not planted by You.
I repent for every time I leaned on my own understanding instead of seeking Your guidance. I repent for the times I ignored wise counsel. I repent for trying to rebuild on broken foundations instead of waiting for Your divine instructions. I repent for the moments I fell and stayed down out of shame. I ask for Your mercy and restoration, Lord.
Your Word says in Psalm 51:17, “A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.” So I come broken but hopeful. I come low so You can lift me up.
God, strengthen me like Joshua. Let me lead with faith, speak with courage, and walk in obedience. Remind me that the battle is not mine alone, and You have placed people around me to guide, uplift, and affirm Your voice. Let me be one of those voices for others, Lord. Let my gift serve the wounded and wandering.
You said in Joshua 1:9, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
So I decree this over my life now. Even in uncertainty, I will rise. Even in the falling, I will find faith. And when I rise again, it will be with clarity, wisdom, and divine power.
I seal this prayer in restoration, revelation, and radical obedience. In Jesus’ name, amen.
